Now if you dont like what my experiences where with a product thats fine, but you sure as hell better not come back to me with comments made to imply MY PERSONAL EXPERINCES arent true. You ever ride in my truck? As if im so ****ing stupid i dont know what i went through. I'm not giving you **** for your experiences you've had so you damn well better not do it with mine. Everyone has a right to express their own experiences and thats mine.
Back to reality for anyone who actually needs info for something they are looking to buy: My truck got to 55-65mph and droned like crazy. I'm 27, not 80 and i like to NOT have a headache when i drive 3hours towing a trailer at 55mph through the mtns. My buddy has a dodge 2500 with a 14" magnaflow, its the worst drone i and he have ever heard in our lives and hes only 24 and hates it. So its not age, its pure fact as far as our experiences went.
If yours doesnt drone be happy, but ours did unreasonably so.
Oh one other thing to, i not sure why but i lost 1.5 mpg with the magnaflow cat-back, but gained 1.5 mpg with the roush cat-back. I also had a supper 44 I swapped into the magnflow cat-back before the roush and it did not drone at all, but lost 2 mpg.. Weird.

I have never heard a 18' on these trucks so I dont know if i would help. I also tow and this only magnifies the drone. Im 30 years old and this is exhaust drones worse than anything I have ever had. On my old turbo cars I would run straight off the downpipe and that didnt bother me as much as this one does. I had a magnaflow catback on my 06 GTO with a cam and catless longtubes and that sounded perfect. I thought I would get the same result with just a cheap magnaflow muffer. Magnaflow does make good products but from my experience I will stay away from them on these trucks.
