If you think about it, dividing the miles by the size of the tank will actually yield a lower mpg than if you divide the miles by the amount of gas it required to fill the tank again.

377/27 = 13.96 mpg
377/24 = 15.7 mpg

Has anyone done a dyno to prove it doesn't help?

I did a seat of the pants feel: when i placed it on the paper stack next to the printer, i felt a lot more umph when i raised my chair from its lowest setting, i also saw a 3mpg improvement when lowering it from its highest setting

^^^ I had very similar results. What if you started stacking them?

^^I saw a slight decrease in reliability when stacking them, but everything went back to normal once i realized it wasn't a very effective mod in the first place haha

I think you're all missing the point.

His Throttle Body Spacer is working....

Just like my Tornado....

I can remember when just a few years ago, when I bought a Cold Air Intake, Airaid sent me a free Throttle Body Spacer. I sold it immediately for $50 on eBay, to help offset the cost of my CAI.

I just installed the Airaid TBS and it has a way better throttle response and a little more power, gas mileage...not so much. The whistle is pissing me off though. About to take it off

BUT... i have an '06 4.6 285/70r17 BFG AT on stock rims, 2" leveling kit up front, glass pack single in dual out, k&n replacement filter. last time i checked was getting average of 10.7 mpgs. SUCKS!!!!!!! i was pretty upset with it! NOW i have gone 314 miles including driving on the Orgen Inlet beach which is pretty soft for a couple miles and still have right at a quarter of tank left. best i can figure i should get at least 400 miles, maybe more. so heres the math

10.7 mpgs before
going to be around 14.8 after tb spacer
4.1 mpg better
4.1 x 27 gallon tank =110.7 more miles out of a tank.
110.7 / 10.7 = 10.3 gallons saved each tank at say 3.00 a gallon
10.3 gallons x $3= 30 bucks saved every tank.

so theres the math in three tanks it will have paid for itself and put cash in my pocket! thanks airaid!
More stickers= more power? (grin)

why are you all calling this BS. Everyone knows who Doc Brown and Marty McFly are. And now thanks to their research: (Flux Capacitor) and Apple we all can go back to the Future and buy real gas CHEAP! Great minds think alike
