New exhaust pics!

Changing my exhaust from true dual with high flow cats and wackpacks (glasspacks) to true dual with high flow cats to single Borla XR-1 with a 5x18 inch tip exiting before the rear tire. Thought I would get away from the typical 3.5 inch tip to a 5 incher! I should be cutting, welding and will be painting the tip black this week if the temp gets below 102 degrees here in Texas!

New Borla XR-1 and 5x18 inch tip:

New 5 inch tip compared to a 3.5 inch tip:

Hes saying that because your running a 5" tip, like a diesel. Your not running a true dual like you stated. High flow cats into a single (hopefully 3") XR1 is a single exhaust. Nonetheless, exiting before the rear tire will make the truck sound WICKED! I think the 5" tip will look good in front of the rear tire.

Right mig, just using the true dual old set up with the high flows. Should sound pretty good when it's all said and done.

Who said a truck had to be a diesel to run a 5 inch tip frog? Just wanted a different set up than most guys.

Similar to my setup except I'm using a slightly smaller tip and exiting in the stock location. I'm running high flows, an XR-1, and a 4 1/2" tip.

I just think a 5" tip looks ridiculous on a gas rig. This is of coarse just my opinion, but it will definitely be "different".

I've never seen an F150 with a 5" tip so I can't comment on that but I can say that the 4 1/2" tip in the stock location looks good IMO.

I agree it is a big tip. But too many trucks around town have smaller duals out the side.

I had dual 3" tips and it looked tiny! Now I have 3.5" tips and it looks quite good. A single 5" probably looks pretty good I would guess!

I just noticed in all the pics you have a crotch shot of you in some blue boxers. Please photo shop something other then your ***** in the reflection of the tips for future viewing!
