Cold air to Gotts?

I currenty have an AF1 intake on my truck, but with all the talk of the gotts mods lately it has got me thinking. Has anyone switch from an AF1 to a Gotts? If so what differences did you notice?

The AF1 is/was considered to be the best of the CAI/WAI lot.

As such, I'd just leave it on there, and ensure you keep the MAF clean.

If you are overly concerned with IAT's don't be - the polished SS tube does well in this regard, and underway it is not an issue.

thanks. im just really tired of the crappy design of the AF1 though. My filter rubs on some wire harnesses and the rubber coupler between the tube and throttle body has split open too. For $230 its not really what i would expect from an intake.

this is very simple,

1) IF you are already tuned for it, leave it on.
2)IF you have no tune for it, TAKE IT OFF!

you are likely going to have similar end results either way you go, unless MGD knows something I don't (possible) because if you are having issues with it and don't like how it looks/preforms no reason to keep it.

Its not tuned for it and doesnt need to be.

It performs great i guess. I dont really know what to compare it too aside from stock. If the gotts will keep the IATs down i might switch to it. I guess im just bored and looking for something to do to the truck lol

I doubt you are going to see any large gain/change from slightly lower IAT's.
But I could be wrong.
