The Exhaust Video / Audio thread

Lots of folks have questions about the sound of a particular setup, or want to let others know what theirs sounds like. I'm starting this thread as a melting pot for everyone to put in their vids or audio clips so folks will have a handy reference.

Be sure to describe your setup in as much detail as possible including engine size and part numbers for mufflers, cats, etc. to help in future searches.

If I it's popular enough maybe we could ask real nice and the mods would sticky it.

My setup...

2007 F150, 5.4L with true duals. 2.5" beginning at the factory cats. 18" Magnaflow DIDO, p/n 12468, with the integrated x-pipe (they call it the Tru-X core). Passenger side exit behind the wheel. Start, idle, and rev.

There used to be one of these floating around here but I'll put mine in.

True dual straights with an X-Pipe and 2 high flow cats.

Same setup just before the rear tire. The last video was literally just after installation.

Thats prob why. I know nothing about exhaust and how loud others compare to each other unless i listen to them . When i got my truck this exhaust was already on there and i havent touched it because i just love how loud it is.

This thread needs to be edited by an admin to keep only post containing helpful videos. No replies and other rambling. This would make it easier for newbs to browse sounds and setups.

x3

I feel that this would be much more successful if the 1st post was continuously updated. Organize everyone's exhaust by brand and link to each post. Then someone looking would only have to check the first post and click on the links to find exactly what they want. No need to read every single post just to hear a particular setup they are looking for.
