Precisely, to eliminate the crap performing Triton engines also.
The 6.2 is a bit tighter with a higher intake but doesn't look too different.

I will have to measure one next time ones in the shop.

Or why not just keep the truck you have? Only reason i'd buy a new one over yours is the 5.0 and 6.2...unless thats your reason

I hate keeping the same vehicle too long, I've never had one as long as this, going on 3yrs this March. Plus its a boring XLT, I hate it. I want full out luxury, and its not worth doing a total interior overhaul in this pile. I want a newer truck is all.

Haha. I'd gladly take that "pile". I'm still driving an 02! 137000 miles on it baby. What I wouldn't give for a new one. Pretty sure Santa's sleigh isn't big enough to bring me one this year either.

Well that truck is sharp, im sure you wont have too much trouble getting some good money for it.
