I don't understand what your asking. Are you having a problem with your cats?

Yes, you have ruined your cats and possibly caused serious damage to you engine. God have mercy on your soul.....

j/k

No you haven't messed anything up. As long as you aren't running open headers, you won't damage anything. The only thing you have to worry about is exhaust fumes not getting out from under the cab and getting into your truck.

True duals, but you can't just weld that in. Really there isn't anything I consider "bad ****" that still uses the stock 4 cats. Maybe just weld a tail pipe on but leave the muffler off. It will be loud, be cheap, and very easy to install. It won't sound as good as the more complicated systems I know of, but it will impress high schoolers.

I almost fell out of my chair laughing when I read that haha. ah, dang I havent laughed that hard in a while! But yes, like punisher said, your fine unless you run open headers. I'm going with a cheap setup soon, and saving money for a better sounding exhaust later down the road.

The best sound(they sound like the old GT's) and cheapest way to do it. Leave your forward converters be, their more less High Flows by themselves and are within programed parameters. In other words , -NO CEL for that model IF, you keep it tight.

Replace you rear converters with straight pipes. Install a Flowmaster 40 or 50 (race series, not SUV).

She'll sound just like those old 5.0's under normal acceleration.

Open Longtubes dumped out the fenders to sound like ultimate loud trash.

Do you fuel economy, and low end power a favor, run a exhaust. Flowmaster Super 10, Dynomax Bullet, or Magnaflow Magnapack for a muffler.

Gutting cats is a PITA job that only makes your velocity loose its strong pulsation interrupting your low, mid, and high end performance. Replace with pipe, or hi-flow cats to retain proper tube sizing.

I welded this one together, then added a 50 series. I liked the sound. -
