Modifying my Banks Exhaust, have a question

I have the Banks monster exhaust on my truck (3" SI/SO.) What I want to do is remove the exhaust piping after the muffler and just put a 90 degree elbow after the muffler and dump it. This shouldn't cause back pressure issues right? Just wanted to check before I start cutting, thanks.

oh, boy... you need to do some reading on back pressure, and dumped will sound like garbage.

try adding hi flow cats before you dump it, that will make it louder.

If you want it louder, then just change the muffler out.

I had the bank's exhaust with a 45 degree dumped style and it sounded perfect.
