I use the Summit Racing version of the flowmaster its only 29 bucks vs 69 for flowmaster, when it was delivered to my door the package said Force Pro series and Summit sells it with thier Name!, Ive used almost every style and brand out thier and I like the Chambered for the fords! I think straight through styles sound better on older styles of engine like GMs or 70s and 80s fords or Dodges (non overhead cam), here is a link for the muffler im talking about!

Just A note: Bare Steel Rusts, Aluminum corodes, Stainless Consumes, so the salt needs to be removed on whatever you buy!
Flowmaster does make a offroad Diamind plate version that is powder coated but that will wtill rust if the salt is not removed!

^ Either way you look at it, stainless is still more durable and the longest lasting by far.

You sir need a 3"in/out Magnaflow round body muffler. Its not exactly the Magnapack which is only the 2.5" and 2.25" 4"x14", but its still a 14" long round body.

Or a Flowmaster Super 10 series. Not '10 Series', the new Super 10 series

But most of their mufflers are now available in stainless, part #s beginning with the number 8 are.

Well, after a week of running around with no muffler and loving the sound, I finally had to do something before I got a ticket... My choices were pretty open, but due to a buddy who works @ Oreilly's, I got a deal on a "damaged" Flowmaster super 44, and welded it up yesterday...

Sounds just like it did with no muffler up till about 1800 rpm, then gets quieter the more you get into it. Overall, I like the sound... Thinking about maybe cutting off my rear cats, but how hard is it to replace the pipe? Do most people just cut and replace the cats with straight pipe, ore replace all the pipe including the factory "Y"?
