I myself have a si/so JBA setup, 3" with a 3.5" tip, love the sound!!! Your setup I'm sure will sound similar I'm sure, removing a few cats will be no doubt louder. I'm sure you'll be happy with it. The drone thing I don't mind at all, I am use to A LOT worse drone (trucks diesels and muscle cars) than these trucks can do, go for it!

That is what I was thinking and hoping for, hopefully I'll get all my parts in by mid week and get it in the shop by the end of the week.

I'll have some pics and sound clips as soon as I get it all done, should be getting my leveling kit on this week as well if I have some extra time

I'm sure I will like it too, not too worried about the drone. It can't be any louder the than my old Cobra with catless H-pipe and SLP LMII's.

There ya go, that's the spirit! Myself, I prefer the si/so, less farty than a si/do? sorry, can't find a decent comparable description.

Also, a side note, you mentioned Cobra, my bro has a 95 with a built 306, MAC headers, off road H and Spintech side exhaust, it still as loud as it is, is probably one of the best sounding cars on the road today!

Ya, I sold my 97 Cobra this fall to buy a truck. That was one heck of a car and damn did it sound good too but it wasn't practical anymore living on a 3,000 acre ranch with a mile long gravel drive way

Here is a little video my Cobra racing a buddy on mine in his Duramax. This is before I put the off H-pipe on there so it's pretty quiet. He turned his programmer down for me haha.

O by the way that Duramax runs 11 second 1/4 miles

The parts are finally here...

All the parts I ordered are all finally here and will be going into the shop tomorrow afternoon along with an alignment due to the leveling kit I installed this weekend.

I will have pics and a sound clip asap!

It is on and I am very satisfied with the setup, very deep tone with hardly any drone in the cab. It really sounds great when you step on it but fairly quiet at idle. I'll get some sound clips uploaded soon, it's taking forever. In the mean time here are some pics...

Sound Clip

Here is a quick little sound clip I did last night, the truck was already warmed up. I need to get a drive by sound clip when I get a chance. Total I have $285 into the whole system, $145 for the parts and $140 for the install. I am very happy with the end result!

Sounds very very good. A great job, all the right parts. My question is your left bank, the bend before it meets the Y pipe, that sure looks like a tight bend.. Hope it isn't choking down the velocity.

Sounds good, but I hate the black tip.

Thanks Darren. As far as the bend in that pipe goes, it looks bad in that picture but its not as restricted as it looks. I could definitely feel a little more bottom end in the gas pedal after the install

To each his own. Everyone in town has dual exhaust with chrome/SS tips around here and everywhere you go for that matter. I just wanted my setup to be a little bit unique and honestly I don't care for the chrome look too much. It will look better once I get my new black wheels too
