Hmmm...

Sound like you got a severe backfire...

Has it been hard on gas lately? Missing...Skipping?

You may have a vucum leak somewhere on the intake setup...

well i just bought the truck 2 weeks ago so im not sure what the norm is for gas yet.

it only makes that noise when im in park and reving tho. when im in drive, there is no noise.

no ck engine light, no missing, skipping...still rides smooth as ever.

Well my truck does that too....But not that loud..

I have the stock exhaust on right now, and it will let out a pop if you rev it, but its not like that...

I wouldn't be able to hear it in the cab.

Check the intake tube to be sure the filter box is closed right and check all the clamps and hoses near the throttle body... To be sure...

Because that does seem a bit loud..

I could be wrong.

Look for cracks and hard spots in your rubber hoses that connects your PCV valve and other vacum lines..

Just have a feel around....Check everything that connects to the throttle body...

Check the intake tube...Cracks and leaky connection can cause a bad A/F ratio...

We may be jumping the gun, and everything is ok....

Just sounds a bit loud..

Why is the tail pipe all bent.... It looks a lil' goofy i that vid...

Are you sure its a stock exhaust and not something that was fab'd to sell the truck?

If its some universal baffled muffler, that could be the cause....

Verify that the truck "indeed" has a stock muffler... It should have a checkered bottom...like diamond plate.

it just looks like its sticking out the side to much...Like someone's diddled with it...

Check it.

You will know if its not stock...

Can you take a normal pic of that tail pipe?

Maybe the vid is decieving me...

Ah you are correct sir. I never noticed this. It looks like the exhaust pipe came unhinged.

It looks like someone backed into something and bent it...

I don't think this would cause the noise though... Unless it distorted a pipe internally somehow, but I doubt that...

It is definatly the stock setup..

What is your new setup... You say befor and after vid...

my new setup is a magnapack muffler, ypipe, and 2 4x18 tips. they should get here thursday. fortunately ill be taking it to a shop to get the new exhaust installed, im sure he will fix anything else that he thinks will cause problems.
