Also has nothing to do with Pacesetters. An OBX kit don't fit right, so it has to be Pacesetters fault ?

Uhmm...

You are right on that jbrew. Problem is that the eBay add clearly states that it should fit the 4WD application. Which it does not. But as I stated earlier, the kit I bought H10971 (pacetter knock offs) has been replaced with the new H11455 (dynatech knock offs) because of fitment problem.

So my concern here is why does OBX authorized dealer still sells the old one and advertise it as it can fit both 2/4WD models when it clearly can ONLY fit 2WD?

If I don't have a positive answer from Racingpartsdepot I will have to file a claim for ''item not as described''. Hopefully we can come to an agreement because I would like to get the newer kit ASAP.

We'll see how this ends.

@NOLAGT --> My advice don't buy the cheap kit from eBay.
Here's a link to the right kit...>>>http://www.sparktecmotorsports.com/h11455s.html

Thanks for the heads up 88racing but I already posted this link in my first post stating that it's what I'm now looking to get.

All in all truck is still in the shop on the liftand they are alomost done with the rest of the exhaust line ( cats+Xpipe+mufflers+tips). I know it's the weekend but I was kind of hoping to get an answer from Racingpartsdepot. I'm just hoping that I can resolve this fast with them since they do carry the kit I need. That said I would be happy if I could work something out with them.

We purchased some OBX shorties for my bosses truck which is 4wd. No way in hell would it ever work, the tubes hit the frame and even after a little adjustment would go straight into the firewall. Replaced with JBA shorties and they fit perfect and bolted right up.

My OBX long tubes (2wd dynatech copy) fit flawless and were easier to install then it was to take out the old manifolds. Wish you luck!

Now I wish I had a local performance shop with decent prices on parts, I'd be willing to pay a bit more for after-sales service. But the price difference between Canada and USA on performance parts for our truck is just too much to pass on. Oh well... I guess that it has to happen once in a while.

I ordered my OBX Longtube kit with resonators and y pipe for my 2007 4wd from racingpartsdepot on ebay. Mine fit perfect, on the truck they look like they should clear with any size lift or lower.

I can dig up the numbers off the kit I ordered if you like.

Thanks Blackout07, but if you read closely the first few posts, it was stated that the kit I got is the 10971 kit which are pacesetter knock offs in SS T304. The kit you have is the 11455 which is Dynatech's knock off.

All in all I ordered the same kit you got last Monday. I can't wait to have them installed. I already have the hi-flow cats + X pipe + mufflers and tips installed and it's a beast!!

I'll post a new thread with a vid and pictures when everything is said and done.. most probably next week.

Thanks for the input anyway.

Ahh I see it now, oops... Glad it is finally working out for you though and I can't wait to hear this thing!

You might have stated this in the other thread but I don't have much time to spend on the forum these days. Where are you exiting the tips on the truck?

I was debating on 45' angled or straight out the back. I went straight out the back but the shop had them a little too much centered to my liking so when I'll bring them my truck to install the headers I'll have them widened the ''stance'' of the pipes.

I was thinking about buying these OBX ones with the 3" collector:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OBX-H...item2a0e11d196

Then do a 3" to 2.5" reducer, 2.5-2.5" magnaflow hi flow cats and Borla S type mufflers, true duels with an H-Pipe.

Yeah, I had this issue
https://www.f150online.com/forums/ex...t-headers.html
with my LT OBX headers back in 2008. I also got them from Racing Depot and they knew there was an issue with them then. It took forever to get my money back from them through PayPal. I lost money on the deal due to shipping, time and other BS. F-OBX!

The only problem I had with the set is the driver side hitting the 4X4 drive shaft otherwise the passenger side fitted no problem.

So it's up for sale in the classified section listed as 2WD ONLY !
