My friend painted his 302 the same color. I think it's still sitting in the garage.

What intake manifold is on there? I wish I had a dollar for every FE motor I have built over the years. I think I still have two sets of 428CJ heads somewhere in the barn. Last FE I built I was a 66 428PI motor. Ended up running the Edelbrock Performer aluminum heads on it and went way overboard on that build. If you have trouble finding an aftermarket intake, Summit handles the Weiands which are a good intake for the price.Nice project you have going on there.

The intake is a holley street dominator. It's a single plane so it's not really suited for my application, but it came on it when i bought the truck so i'll just stick with it for now. If i bought a new one it'd probably be the edelbrock performer rpm.

The FE's are great!

oh btw i'm from kent, probably 30min away from canton.
