Question Mass Airflow Sensor & Throttle Body Spacer?

Looking for any input on mass air flow sensors and/or throttle body spacers. I plan on doing these two mods soon and was wondering if one brand was better than any other and if these two mods are worth it or am I throwing away my time and money? Im looking at AFE throttle body spacer and a Jet performance airflow sensor. Intake and exhaust are already done and an Edge evolution from PHP will follow these next mods. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Both a waste of time & money: ZERO benefits.

[BTW - a Washoobi (unless you peformed a simple Gots modification) is not a safe idea on a 3V without tuning correction. You were recently advised concerning this: https://www.f150online.com/forums/ch...ns-please.html ]

Many, many threads discussing the above three mods exist - you may wish to find & read them. Highly recommend that you do this rsearch before purchasing anything.

To get you started - here's just one, w.r.t. Jet: https://www.f150online.com/forums/ch...ow-sensor.html

sounds like you have been researching worthless mods (with the exception of the Gryphon)...

Understood. Thanks for the good advice. I'll put the money toward my Gryphon.

So basicly all these items....throttle body spacers, larger mass air sensors, ect ect are all junk and make no improvements? Waste of money, or with they give you more power over stock, or even more with the cai, exhaust, and programer?

Just curious as to why the CAI is not safe on 3 valve motors?

3v motors run lean as it is. A cold air intake makes them run even leaner causing a dangerous air fuel ratio. However buy say a custom tune from either php or Troyer with a cold air intake and you'll gain easily 30-50 HP at the flywheel.

Another bolt on is the BBK 80mm throttle body. I have one and feel like throttle response is better. A TB spacer is a waste on anything but carbureted motors. You don't need a bigger mass air flow meter unless you get a supercharger.
