Question Cold Air Intake/ Throttle Body Spacer Question?

I just got a 2006 4X4 XLT Supercrew F-150 with the 5.4 V8. It is completely stock right now (plan to get a 6 inch lift and 35's in a few months). I'm only getting 14 or 15 MPG on the highway. This seems really low for a stock truck to me. Is this average milage? I plan to get a cold air intake system, and I just wanted some input about which brand will give me the most improved performance and gas milage. Also, do throttle body spacers help enough to be worth the $100? Any Suggestions?? Thanks.

The best intake is the Gotts mod. It costs $15 and has none of the negatives as those $200 intakes have.

As for the throttle body spacer...

Yes, it's normal.

A WASHOOBI will do little or nothing for either HP or MPG. Your best chance to increase is the Gotts mod and a tuner with custom tunes.
