Where are my O2 sensors?

OK, got a chance to peak under my truck today. I hear of most people having problems installing a new y-pipe or x-pipe due to the O2 sensor placement after the cat's. Well, when I looked, I had no O2 sensors behind my cat's. The only 2 I had were in my exhaust manifold. Is this wierd? I have a 2000 2wd v6 sport. Is it only on the v8's that the O2 sensors are behind the cat's? Thanks for the info.

The V8s have em in front of and behind the cats on both sides.
