I am only going to be doing SISO or SIDO. Looks like I will either be going with the Corsa Kit, XR-1, or Magapack (hows that for a range? lmao).

How does the XR-1 compare to the Magnapack with regards to drone and whatnot?

Ughh...1800 rpms is pretty much the exact rpm I'm at on the freeway. Maybe the XR-1 or Magnapack are not good options for me. I don't go on the freeway much, but when I do travel my wife and kids are in the car.

Definitely with true duals, but it's not bad at all with my single XR1. The only time there is noticeable drone is when I'm towing on the highway with OD off.

That is good to hear.

I found a shop here about 120 miles up the road that said they could do a full stainless - mandrel bent SI/DO setup with an XR-1 and two Magnaflow 18" tips that are 2.5 ID/4.0 OD for $420 out the door. If I went the Magnapackroute, the price would be roughly $40-$60 less.

Does that sound like a pretty good deal?

If that includes the muffler and tips that's a really good deal IMO. The tips and muffler alone will run you $230 from performancepeddler.com with coupon code "clubgp". So, $190 for mandrel bent pipes and labor isn't bad at all. Another way to look at it is a Magnaflow catback kit will run you at least $430 and that's not installed.

Yeah, I asked one of the guys at the shop how much a SIDO kit with 18" tips would cost to match the Magnaflow 16463 kit and the price he gave me was about $350 out the door. He also said they would warranty their work.

The drive would be heavy in gas cost but it looks like I may be heading down there anyways for work this week so my company is going to pay me mileage for the trip. 240 miles round trip, but my company would give me about $100 for gas. Not too bad.
