New Intake and now I'm stalling out...

I have recetly put a Borla exhaust system on my truck and have a Diablosport Trinity 1000 programmer in my truck. Today my AEM intake system got here and I installed it. Now my truck is idleing off and when I tap the throttle its stay rev'd up a few seconds after I let off and if I try and stay in it my truck just stalls out. I have a 2007 F150 5.4L Lariat

Dirty MAF sensor? is the AEM dry or an oil filter? oil may have contaminated the MAF sensor. Had this situation on my '04 5.4 with my Air Force One oiled filter.

I've had a K&N dropin for almost 100,000 miles and never has the oil fouled the MAF.

Excuse me...it may have been the design of my particular filter that allowed that particular oil used on that particular filter to create my problem...

That's quite possible. I've heard (but never actually witnessed), that over-oiling a cotton gauze filter can cause the MAF to get fouled.

Boss man, try unplugging your negative battery terminal. Wait 5 minutes for your computer to reboot and relearn itself and replug it in. It should stop idling like you describe. Your computer just needs to relearn itself.

Exactly. I don't have that many, but you still get the point. People run into problems by over oiling it after washing.
