The 11 will be louder and deeper but same tone for the most part. Tips will help project the tone better and slightly deepen it and the duals (I'm assuming si/do?) will add a fuller sound to it.

Start with the tips. You will be amazed what difference they will make.

Yes. My truck roared with 11"s and 45s with 4"x18" tips.

alright. yea darren, ive heard all your vids, and those are wat made me wanna get a magnaflow. so ill start with the y pipe and tips, and if it still isnt loud enough, ill swap in the 11. the tip thats on it now is just a chrome tip that slides over the pipe. the shop put it on to dress it up. im sure with the 3.5"s, theyll bring out the sound more. dont get me wrong, my 14 sounds great, but im not getting enough idle sound, ya know? i like to hear it good in the truck and about 15-20 feet away

i just remembered. for the magnaflow 3.5" tips, they only fit 2.5" pipe, so the y pipe im getting is 2.5" in, 2.5" dual out. would that little bit bigger pipe going out ruin my low end torque? its only a quarter inch bigger than wat it should be if 2.5" in.

Well I got rid of my 11"s because the idle was silent, I got the Bullets and gained my louder idle, and too much drone.

yeah, i guess its hard to find that happy medium where ya got both sufficient idle noise and tolerable drone. if ya had to rate the drone with the 11s and the bullets on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the worst, where would they rank?

You drive it more than idling it. Get it done so your happy with it driving. Nothing else matters at this point.
