Lots of Popping and Crackling??

So you know how when you park and shut down, the cats will pop and crackle and cary on until they cool down?? Well, just here recently I've noticed mine really, really pop and crackle and cary on like that. It's more pronounced and louder than it was before. It's definitely a new development obviously since it caught my attention. Is this a sign of something?? 122,000 on original cats.

The cats are probably past their prime and are breaking down. You can take it to an exhaust shop and they can determine if they're cooked or not.

If you have them replaced make sure to keep them yourself and go scrap those puppies....got $100 for all 4 of mine.

It might be the reason. Are you custom tuned and running a little rich?
