Question Deltaflow 40 vs Original 40's

Hello all,

A couple months back when I ordered my Flowmaster 40 system, I requested the model with deltaflow technology.

Apparently, there was some sort of screwup and I actually received an original Flowmaster 40 system, which was then installed.

Now , several weeks later, they send me the correct Deltaflow system, with a note of apology.

So my problem is: do I now install the deltaflow model or do I keep the current system?

My question is, What differences (both performancewise and soundwise) could I expect with the Deltaflow system?

Any help would be appreciated.

BAJANBLACK,

I had a shop install a FM 40 on my truck for a while...Changed to a FM 70 to quite down the system. A friend had the FM 40 Deltaflow on his f150...In my opinion the non delta 40 is louder both on the exterior & on the interior by far. I don't think there is much difference in performance but if you call FM they will probably tell you that you will get better performance with a deltaflow model on f150s.
