New side exit exhaust

I’ve been wanting to upgrade my exhaust ever since I bought my truck and finally got around to doing so this weekend. I like doing things myself, but have limited tools so the entire system installed with a reciprocating saw and some hand tools. Additionally, all of the parts were purchased from major auto parts stores (primarily O’Reilly). Here is a breakdown of the parts used:

Muffler – Magnaflow single 2.5” in/dual 2.25” out. Model #12258. This actually came from Amazon. I originally wanted the dual 2.5” out, but found this one from Amazon Warehouse deals in like new condition for 60 bucks. Couldn’t pass up the deal.

Tips – 2.25” in/3.5” outx18”L slash cut

Other parts:
2.5”x18” extension (used between factory pipe and muffler inlet)
2.25” 45* elbows (connected directly to muffler outlets)
2.25”x24” extension (used between elbows and tips)
Universal hanger
Clamps (2x2.5”/6x2.25”)

And a couple of pics...

They turned out really nice. I always wanted to do that to my 98 stepside but was afraid they would be to loud.
