delete 2 rear cats

I know there are threads about this already but I want to know if someone with a 4.6 has done it

I want to delete tge 2 rear cats and run it to the stock pipe into a 40 series.
Would that still sound good
And if I do it are there any sensors I have to worry about or check engine lights that will come on

I'm not sure with the 4.6 but removing anything the restricts the air flow of your exhaust, such as those cats, will make your current setup sound better. I removed the rears cats in my 5.4 and it sure did make a difference. Also, there will be no issues with sensors bc the O2 sensors are located in your front set of cats

When removing the rear cats does power and mileage increase at all?
