2004 exhaust on a 1999 F250?

Hey all -

The exhaust on my 1999 F250 (light duty) 5.4L is getting leaky and loud. A buddy of mine has a 2004 F150 5.4L. He took the stock exhaust off of his when it was fairly new and put on an aftermarket system. He has the stock from his '04 in storage and said if it would work on my truck I could have it. My question - will the 04 setup work on my 99? Will it connect and will it follow the same path (bends, hangers, etc.)? Of course, I could go drive to my buddy's house and jack up the truck and check the layout, but I figured I would ask here first.

Thanks.

Piping is a tad smaller as superduties get 3" piping on 5.4's for lower egts.

My F250 is not the super duty - it's a 3/4 ton (light duty 250). It's got extra springs and 7-lug wheels, but I don't know what size pipe is on it. I'll check that out.
