Good C/A intake?

I have been looking around for a cold air intake for a while now and I think I am going to get the K&N 57 Generation II. Is this a good intake? Any suggestions on a intake?

Thanks!

Good 'performance intake' would be any enclosed box with a 3" tube or 3.5". The Gotts style is the most economical way to go for the same performance that a $300 intake will provide. All you need is a few parts from Lowes, and a hi-flow performance Amsoil air filter.

Idk when I had my intake I noticed a difference in MPG but I took it off because I read a lot of these threads and they're bashing on Cold air intakes.
