Obx headers on

I had Obx long tubes installed yesterday.my truck is a 07 supercrew with the 5.4 and a Whipple with a Jdm upgrade running 10# of boost. The headers went on with the obx gaskets , stage 8 locking hardware, and bbk o2 extensions. No check engine light!!! Oh I also have a Bob Kurgan retune for the headers. They sound/perform great. I would recommend to anyone.. The hot rod barn in Seneca Illinois did the work. They did an excellent job.

I'll get some I'm putting the new wheels on this weekend and I'm replacing the heartthrob muffler with the largest Afe machforce muffler they offer the body is 5x11x22 and it's strait through. With a single 3" tailpipe. I'll try to get some pics. No cats and no check engine light. Surprising.

Methinks there's no CEL because of your custom tune.

X2, or else the O2s are old and heavilly soot'd out and the code won't read the error until at least 100 miles.

Nice setup though. I believe my '07 has a poor gasket on the passenger side so I see LTs and hi-flows in my future. Sheesh even my '04 lasted longer.. shame about these '07/'08s crapping out lately.

What was the cost range of the install if I may ask and how long did the install take?

Cost of install was 450$ with the stage 8 locking bolts. Dropped it off before work and it was done when I got off.

Also I didnt get a cel with my 10# Bob Kurgan tune or my 10# JDM Engineering tune. Drove about 10 miles on each. That is until I got my Kurgan retune. I spoke to Fatherford and he never threw any codes with his Jdm tune and OBX long tubes with resonators. Some do some don't. Truck is a MONSTER!!'

I Switched the heartthrob cat back I had out And put a 3" AFE Machforce cat back. Sound is amazing not overwhelming yet it has a total muscle car tone. The AFE muffler is a 5x11x22" body.
