Little Teaser Before The Real Thing

So tomorrow is the day I am getting my new exhaust system installed.

Here are a few videos of my old system I currently have.

This was the very first video I recorded when I first got this system installed.

This video is a few months after.

This was filmed today.

Sorry for the crap quality. The last video was filmed with my iPhone4s and the wind didn't help.

The videos have different titles for the mufflers. The exhaust shop I went told me it was a Super 44. I've been told different. All I know is its a Flowmaster 40-something series.

I should have my truck back by Saturday so I will post some pics in this thread when I get it. I get off shift Monday morning so check back here and I will post the new exhaust videos here.

Current setup:
Stock manifolds
Stock 4 cats
3" SI/SO Flowmaster dumped before the rear axle.

New setup:
Pacesetter Shorty Headers
Stock 4 cats
2.5" in/out X-pipe
2 14" Magnaflow Magnapacks
exited out the rear with 45'd Magnaflow tips.

P.S Mods sorry for all these threads recently I promise this should be my last exhaust thread I make.

Fer as I know, ain't no limit on number of threads a feller can post about exhaust. Besides, we all really dig the exhaust vidyas.

Can't wait to hear the 'after' vid!

Here's a quick video I made.

I'll make another one soon with better quality and what not when time permits.

I think my passenger side header might have a leak, what will it sound like, and how can I test it?

I hear a ticking noise, not a hissing is that from the headers?

I read that they are a lot thinner than the manifolds so I'm hearing a lot more engine noise than usual.

Does the ticking noise get quieter or stop once the truck gets up to operating temp? If so, and it never did it before, you have a leak somewhere.

You're sure it's from under the hood, right?

Take it back to the installer and make them fix it.

Gets louder under load. I had my buddy hear it and he says its a leak.

Gonna bring my truck in first thing Wednesday and have them check it out and fix it

FYI, while this is really not that big of a deal, for those looking for future install, the tailpipe (appears) to have been install on the inside of the muffler outlet. This can lead to premature leaks at the welds. The head pipe should slip into the inside of the muffler inlet tube as well for the same reason.
