2003 F150 Exhaust

So i just bought this truck and i want a nice sound out of it. I was wondering what is the most complete kit i can get? I want to be able to do it in a day, without having to run to the store 10 times. I like the looks of the cat backs. Anyone have them or know where i can get a complete kit? Its a super cab XLT with the 4.6L. Thanks!

The search engine towards the top of the page is full of information regarding cat back brands and installs.

Easiest cat back I ever installed was a Gibson Super Truck exhaust. If I remember correctly, it comes in one piece(already welded together) and the instructions tell you where to cut the old exhaust off then clamp and hang the new one.

Not trying to be a smart ***, but good luck.

You will almost never see a noticeable increase in fuel mileage from an exhaust system. I don't care what any muffler manufacturer claims.

i have an 02 that i just bought a single in dual out flowmaster. i had my local shop bend two 45's in two pipes and just dumped them in front of the right rear tire like the 97 came. great tone while still maintaining some back pressure. a lot of people don't realize that if it flows too well on these trucks you will actually lose torque. as far as fuel mileage, my biggest problem was intake. i installed a cold air intake and it helped more than exhaust. for the most help i removed my mechanical fan and added two electric fans. it is very resoponsive now and downshifts half as often which has to help fuel.

I got lucky with my 03 FX4, the guy I got it from, had a Magnaflow dual cat back exhaust installed, must have cost a few bucks for that, it looks great and sounds amazing.
