Which Magnapack would be louder?

Which Magnapack would be louder?
Between a 4" round x 18" case Magnapack and a 5" round x 14" case Magnapack, which would be louder? Would one be higher pitched, and the other be deeper?
It's kind of hard to judge/imagine what the difference would be like. With the first one you have 4" of extra case length, but with the second you have a larger more cavernous case. I am using the "classic" 4"x14" Magnapack as the standard for comparison since we've all heard it on many people's different setups. I'm sort of looking for an intermediate Magnapack as I feel the 4x14's will be too aggressive. Thanks for your input.

Thanks for your input, I agree they will be close to the same. I calculated the internal case volume on various mufflers, and the 5x14 Magnapack surprisingly has the most volume of all.
4x14 Magnapack (10416) = 175.929189 inches³
4x18 Magnapack (10426) = 226.194671 inches³
5x14 Magnapack (12866) = 274.9999999999998 inches³
5x10 Borla Stinger S-Type (just for kicks) = 196.42857142857125 inches³
4x9 oval x 11 body, current DIDO (11379) = 305.11872 inches³
I'm not sure if my pipes are too close together currently to accommodate a pair of 5" round 'packs. Right now the pipes are going through a 4x9 oval DIDO. So i'm currently leaning towards the 4x18's until I can get the truck back into the exhaust shop to confirm fitment.

So after doing that last volume calculation on my current DIDO muffler, I find myself even more confused. The numbers indicate that my current muffler would be louder than a pair of the smallest Magnapacks. It would be 305.11872 inches³ of muffler volume vs. 351.858378 inches³ for the 4x14 Magnapacks X2.
Of course these are just mathematical calculations and not the real world. Would my single oval DIDO really be louder than two 4x14 Magnapacks since it has less case volume? Aren't two SISO mufflers usually louder than a single DIDO since you have less exhaust pulse interaction?

I'm looking for a muffler setup that has a little bit more aggressive tone to it than what I have now without going too far into "Droneland". We all saw what happened in 4.6 Punisher's case where his exhaust sounded wicked with the 4x14 'packs but the drone eventually got to him.
My exhaust lost some of its tone/growl with the addition of the recent H-pipe, so that's why i'm on the hunt for a middle ground Magnapack setup.

This is why i'm looking for more aggressive mufflers; my exhaust lost a lot of its bite.

My 4x14" Magnapack (3" in/out) doesn't drone at all at cruise speedsn my 2010. The ONLY time there is any drone (and it's not bad at all) is around 60-65mph and it quickly fades.
My XR-1 on the other hand had some pretty nasty drone in the 60-70mph range.
Having said that, I run SI/DO and not true duals so YMMV.

I spoke with Dave at Magnaflow today to help me compare different mufflers to what I have now. He said the muffler I have now is one of the most aggressive mufflers they offer for street use, and that the 4x18 and 5x14 Magnapacks would definitely be quieter than my current muffler. He recommended the 4x14 10416 Magnapack saying it would be very close to what I have now. I think they might offer a cleaner more unique sound than my oval body. Who knows, the drone might even be a little less with the packs' combined volume of 351.858378 inches³ vs. the 305.11872 inches³ I currently have.
I asked about the aggressiveness of two SISO mufflers vs. one DIDO muffler and he said it's all going to boil down to total volume of packing material. So apparently the volume calculations among the various mufflers have some merit.

Don't you think my exhaust would sound more unique with a pair of 4x14 rounds compared to my oval body? If it gets a tad quieter I wouldn't even care, it's a more exotic tone i'm after. The exhaust note is just kind of "meh" in the After H-pipe video above, I liked the sound in the Before video much more.

^ Here is my honest opinion. Take that crossover out and be done with it!
Here is the deal, don't let anyone on here talk you into believing that crossover is anything more than a way to change the sound of your exhaust. Is it better to have one? On a dyno yes, real world driving? No. I bet that you can't tell any difference what so ever after you added that. I sure didn't. Sound only.
What I am saying is, it is stupid to spend more money just because everyone talked you into believing a crossover is "correct", when you were happy with out it to begin with.
Sound is what you notice 100% of the time, so make changes for that reason. As long you don't anything stupid, like dual 3" or a 4" single. You get my point.
