I'm not honestly worried about the loudness of the exhaust. Just from research they seem to be quiet haha.

I've run the XR-1 with stock manifolds and cats, as well as with longtubes, and no cats, and they sound nothing like a stock truck. You are mis-informed.

from having read Arklight's review of manaackad x1, they are within the same loudness....So this are not the quiet go-to exhaust..

Equivalent to a Magnapack. The #40085 is even a hint louder than a #14419 Magnapack.

Either way borla xr1s are the best sounding exhaust I heard (whiteroush's truck is what sold me on them.)

I wish I could have seen White Roush dyno vid but it seems to be gone. I did find his highway vid on YouTube and it didn't sound loud at all. I'm going to call Borla again tomorrow to confirm what I was told last week about the 18" XR1 being the way to go for a quiet exhaust with a deep powerful sound under accel. My other thought has been.to wait for the 2013 GT500 guys to start selling their stock mufflers.

Twinskrewed, borla told you there is a 18" xr1?
I remember seeing the 12", and 16" oval and then there is the round xr1...
