New FloPro Muffler/Custom Exhaust=Zero Drone Update Video

I've been dealing with a new exhaust with Magnaflow (12198)SIDO, Resonator Delete, Dynomax (24215) Dual Chrome 3 1/2 Tips. The Drone was getting ridiculous, I also felt the truck lost power with the straight through design, even the MPG got worse.

Took the truck to Kinney's Muffler in Watauga. Kirk, looked at my system and offered 2 solutions. First was to add another longer round muffler, but no guarantee of course if that would solve the drone issue and would not solve the decrease of power/mpg issues. Second, was to let him install a True Dual Custom exhaust. He used the FloPro #726 which is a 22" Dual In/Dual out Muffler; eliminate Y pipe,(no resonator); quad Raptor style stainless steel tips that exit behind rear wheels.

Result? I'm more than totally satisfied. The sound is deep, not raspy at all; the look is really nice (too late for pics; I'll try to work on that soon). The power is noticeably increased; better MPG with driving mostly around town after the install, and most of all there is Zero Drone.

Just what the F150 needed.

Sounds good. My 99 has a 14 inch oval Magnaflow muffler that the previous owner put on and it drones pretty bad at certain RPM's, will be swapping it out soon.

Kinneys does really nice work. They did the exhaust on my Camaro.

Not sure what you mean by mid mount? The piece in the middle of the exhaust is the X-pipe.

The car has hooker long tubes/no cats, magnaflow x-pipe and flowpro twister mufflers. Also has heads, cam, intake, 4000 stall converter and 4.10 gears.

Mid mount has the mufflers before the rear axle. The non 4v mustang guys sometimes do it to get a different sound. It changes the exhaust note.

Doesn't sound that great to me, but a very clean install and a good looking truck.
