Very nice man! straight pipe, afe and tune it and you're gonna go insane! Looks like a 6.0, make sure if you're gonna crank her up to put in some ARP head studs and have guages. My dad's truck took a big dump recently at 85000 or somethin, head gasket, oil cooler and injector 8 all went out when he was haulin a toyhauler up a huge hill goin 70 in cruise control and the truck dropped from OD to 3rd and the boost went up to 33 psi and like 4500-4800 rpms... Sooo now he has started bullet-proofing it and it's become a great truck. Just really have to take care of them correctly.

Man I miss my superduty. Looks like an 06 or 07. They got most of the issues worked out by then. I didn't have a 6.0 but looked for a while. Few little mods make them much more reliable from what I've read. Congrats!

New truck looks great. Any plans to put Borla back on it though?

Not my favorite diesel engine by any means but they sure do sound good straight piped. I got alot compliments when I had my 05 PSD straight piped.

Congrats! I have to agree with the above, those white Lariat FX4s are one of the best looking Super Duty models!

Thanks fellas! I found this one, and it's got anything and everything I could ask for. And, only 72k miles.

As of now, I'm looking to start with EGR delete, tune, and ARP studs. After that's done, I'll look into some horsepower.

Nice truck!! Congrats! I love the chrome package on this year model trucks. They looked good period. Not a overly huge fan of the 6.0h0h but the great part is you got a late one which are the least problematic.

Why the switch? Wanted more power?

^ got tired of pulling our horse trailer with the 5.4. We will be getting a bigger gooseneck horse trailer in a couple years too, so I'll need a bigger truck anyway. Thought I would be better off trading now while I could get 13k out of it.

Sounds justifiable. I've always wondered what caused more drone on diesels, straight pipe or that loud muffler guys like to run on them, (i think its a magnaflow?) Could be wrong....
