Talking

I,ve got a single Z55 on. - Really like the "burp" it gives me, but not enough to make it loud. - On now for 6months & 12,000 miles - still looks like new.

I've got the 5.4L motor, single 3" in with two 2.5" exits. I have the ravin Z33, really nice low growl, not too loud but just right. I think you 'd be happy with the Z33. I've heard it also with a single 3" pipe exit and it sounds great.

Unhappy

Hey ELKTAGAZ So you like the Ravins eh? Do you experiance any cab drone? I am debating between the Vortex and the Z33. From some of stats I have researched the Ravin has a little more flow which to me means it should be slightly louder, which is something I want. The concern I have is if I buy the Z33 it won't be loud enough, I know that sounds a little crazy, but I want to turn heads but not have the straight pipe thing. Have you heard any other set ups similliar to yours that are louder, but still sound good?
Let me know
Cheers
O

I have the Z-33 SI/DO with 3" tips. I personally love this muffler. It has a really throaty sound at full throttle, and a nice (a little quiet) tone at idle. I am still impressed with the sound and tone, but I do wish it was a little louder. As for interior drone, what bothers you might not bother someone else and vice-versa. I haven't had any complaints about interior drone (at least none that matter!!).

Cool

I've had the Z-33 single in, single out on my 4.6L for about 10,000 miles now. It sounds excellent. Not way loud, but real noticeable. A little cab drone on the highway at 70 mph but that's what a kick @ss stereo is for!

Thumbs up Ditto....

on the great sound! I just had a Z33 SI/SO and 3 1/2" tip installed today. First impression is good. The sound is mellow and quiet at idle, not too loud at normal throttle, and sounds really good when you get on it (like a real truck). There is a slight drone at high speed, but any performance exhaust will probably have some. Just turn up the radio!

Hey Opipe

I know what you mean by turning heads. LOL
I have a VORTEX dual exhasut on my EXPY with 22inch chrome tips exiting from the rear.
I set off car alarms and turn many heads as I drive by. I love my new Vortex muffler. It sounds like a Mustang on steriods.
I dont know too much about Raven ?

I had a Flowmaster before and I did not like the sound it was to quiet for my taste.

GOOD LUCK
