Flowmaster 10 Series on my 97

I made a video of my exhaust. It's basically the factory 2.5" setup (early 97 model with exit in front of passenger tire) with a SISO Super 10 muffler and 3.5" x 12" ss rolled edge tip. Overall I'm really happy with the setup it was cheap and sounds good. Compared to my 04 5.4 with 3" straight pipe this setup is not quite as deep sounding but has a little more character I think. To me the Super 10 sounds like a straight pipe with a little hint of chambered muffler. I still have the 4 factory cats so it isn't crazy loud.

Power wise I didn't notice any change. Some people say a chambered muffler will decrease low end torque but my truck runs up and down the hills on cruise control just like it did before (sometimes downshifts going into strong wind). There's a bit of drone that doesn't really bother me.

Here's a short video I made before I put the 3.5" tip on. You can hear the difference it makes in sound. After putting on the 3.5" tip I have less drone because it clears the body a little more.
