John T here. 2020 XLT 2.7 Eco 110,000 miles. Have been seeing intermittent warnings about the oxygen sensors since 95K miles. The warnings disappear for a few thousand miles, then reappear, disappear again, reappear, on and on. I have not replaced them yet. New warning now about excess carbon build up in the catalytic converters. Warning light was on for a few hundred miles, went away. Now on again.

Wondering what the consequences would be if I remove the cats altogether in terms of performance, possible engine damage, etc., and notwithstanding the obvious consequence of increased emissions.

Will appreciate any thoughts, advice, experiences on this.
