Exclamation whow!! just got s'more Flowmaster info!

hey, i just read that the Flowmaster has 1,2, and 3 chamber mufflers... is that true or is someone lying??? they said that 1 chamber has the worst sound, best low end gain but no top end, 2 chamber has a better sound, and some low and top end gains, and 3 chamber has the best sound but no low end power but good top end power??? is this all true?
i didn't even know that Flowmaster made a 1 chamber muffler? oh well
thanx

ummmmm no.
the 1 chamber is the 30 series
the 2 chamber is the 40 series
the 3 chamber is the 50 series
40's have the best sound IMO. they are for a fact though the loudest besides the 1 chamber which i think is illegal for on-road use, race-cars only, sorry.
Your torque facts are all wrong too.
the 40's produce the most top-end while the 50's produce the most low-end.
Man you sure do post a lot of topics but I just remind myself that I once was in your position.... Later, Mark

the 1 chamber is illegal for on road use....only for race cars, even though they will fit pickups.....My uncle got a single chamber for his streek stock...he has a regular 350 in it, and IMO it sounds awsome....OMG talking about loud!!!!but it is also deep....has alot of popping and chackling when the rpms decrease...
