They are good mufflers. I have no complaints about mine, and I personally prefer the sound over flows and gibson.

I agree with ski, I put the SI/DO Z-55 on my SCrew with 4" pipes out the back at a 45 degree angle. In my opinion it also sounds better than flowmasters. It's loud enough to know its a truck, but not loud where it bothers you in the cab while going down the road. It's also louder the slower you go, for instance it sounds great up until 30-40, then the sound tapers off and at highway speeds, 55-85, you can't really notice that you have a muffler, that's from inside the cab of course. If you want to see pictures of it check out my gallery, I have pictures from underneath to show people my set up on a SCrew.

Had mine (Z-33) for over a year now. Sounds great. For some reason, it sounds even better when it's cold out.

I have the Z55 muffler. I used the stock pipes and had a chrome tip welded on. I smile everytime I start it. Sounds nice and mellow.

I have to admit, my two favorite things about this exhaust are:

1) Having the remote start, I wait for unsuspecting passer-bys. More than once I have made people jump. Wait until they are behind the truck first, otherwise, their response is the best it could be!

2) Showing the truck to people that have never seen it before. They start it and look at you like they did something wrong! This happens instantly before they say something to the effect of "Holy Shipt"!

Well,I got a z-55 si/do , for almost one year now,and i hope it is going to last forever. The soud is better than ever in cold air, here in Quebec .Midas did the double side exhaust installation and also drill a small hole in the lower part of the muffler to eliminate condensation. Most of my driving is less than 10 miles,so we figure that it could help the ravin' to last. I also reduce the exit to 2 inches instead of 2 1/2 to regain low torque if possible.Seems to work.Power and soud are there. Good luck with yours.

Ravin is the way to go. I have never heard a complaint about a ravin muffler. The thing I like most about mine is when I down-shift from third into second or second to first and it just rumbles.....great sound!
