4.6L & 5.4L...Same Exhaust?

Hey guys...sold my 2001 4.6L Supercrew 4x4 and just purchased a 2002 5.4L Supercrew FX4.

I had a Gibson "Swept Side" cat back exhaust on the 2001 4.6L Supercrew and was wondering if it will fit and work on the 2002 5.4L Supercrew.

Is the 4.6L and 5.4L Gibson "Swept Side" exhaust numbers the same and can they be used on either motor?

Your comments are appreciated!

I'm not too familiar with SuperCrews, but I had a '99 F-150 SB, RC, with 4.6 and now I have an '01 SB, RC, with 5.4 and the exhausts are exactky the same except the 5.4 has a vibration dampner on one of the clamps. In fact, my father has a '00 SC, SB with 5.4 and that is exactly the same too. I don't think it matters what F-150 configuration you have, the exhausts are all the same. Obviously on a supercab or supercrew the pipe from the cats is extended, but the exhaust system that is bolted on after that is the same. Have fun!
