cool. mine doesnt really have a tip like yours, the exhaust tube just bends down and faces the ground at like a 60 degree angle. can you see yours from teh side if you dont bend down? mine is right behind the tire so you cant see it inless you bend down. yours looks cool though!

Thumbs up Thanks...

I've been running a turn-down for over a year now, and love it. This is my 4th. turn-down variation on this truck, and all my other setups had the pipe just bent downward like yours, but I had them chop it this time, and add the tip I had layin' around that I spent $65 on. The tip alone made a pretty impressive difference in tone / overall loudness. You wouldn't believe the diference they make. You can see the tip only standing on the right side of the truck, otherwise, not at all. It's funny watching everyone look for the tips when I cruise by. BTW, it's straight pipe, no damned muffler...these trucks are too quiet to run a muffler, IMO, and it's still not very loud. I'd like to do away with the pre-heaters if at all possible. Anyway, this helps save on weight, that I picked up with my stereo. Check it out in the link in my sig. Thanks guys!!!

Thumbs up BTW...

Going to turn-down from traditional did make a nice difference...deeper and sounds louder. Everyone says it sounds like my truck is sitting under water at idle.

haha i know what you mean. i have straight pipes also and with my engine mods the exhaust sounds loud deep and mean, so everytime i pass people on the street they look at the back of the truck looking for tips or something
