New Here and, I need the facts.
I`ve been reading some posts and I`m getting confused about duals on the truck. Some say they help and some say they take from the low end. I put a y pipe on my truck with a glass pack. I have not notice any gains or loses with it but only a lot louder than stock.(lots) I really didn`t get to drive it to much before it had duals so maybe it did lose some low end power.
I`d like to know the Pro`s an con`s about a y pipe.
I`d also like to know the pro`s and Con`s of true duals.

I had a reputable shop do my true duals. They cut the Y pipe just before it comes together, and ran 2 1/2" pipes back to two-chamber FlowMasters, and then out the back with 3" chromed pipes. There's no question that it helped my performance, and even helped a little in the milage department. The thing sounds great, and I have no problem towing a loaded 18' car hauler. I'd do it again if I had to.
