ok i blew out the cats on my truck recently while towing our boat back from Lake Erie. I made it home alright and now the truck sounds like crapola. I called my locla exhaust shop and they said they could put new cats on my truck for $220, That' s installed. Now they also said that since my truck having 128K on it, they said it' s not really worth it anymore to put new cats on it. I know not putting new cats on my truck would be cheaper but the downside is i would sacrfice my low end They said they could just run pipes from the manifold make the hole for the 02 sensor, blah blah blah...... into some sort of muffler of my preferance i.e, quiet muffler, glasspacks etc... Is it worth to put cats on or not?????? I'm really stuck
