Maybe a dumb question, but always been curious.

Where the hell does all the water come from? I have the Flowmaster system and I know that when metal cools off condensation forms, but I'm pouring out gallons of water. Is the water an engine bi-product, or what? ( happens till engine gets to running temp.)

its condensation - casused by warm heat from engine and cold air temp in and around exhaust pipes. That wonderful acidic fluid draining out of your pipes is what rusts them out eventually. It looks cool though, go burbuling out and see that steam and water dripping from the tips.

Exactly what PhillipSVT said. Water is a by-product of combustion.
