magnaflow true duals

I am having a magnaflow true dual set up made for my truck. I see that neal has it on his truck but he has headers. Does anyone have this setup on their truck without headers? I have a 4.6 and would love to know what this will sound like. How much HP should i expect? I know im not going to see like 15hp, but will i feel it in the pant o meter?

oh yeah its 2.5"all the way to 4"tips

I would get this if I was you. I am about to do the same thing, only in 2.25" piping so that I keep the velocity up:

2 94306 SS Magnaflow Catalytic Converters
1 14316 SS Magnaflow Mufflers 4x9" 14" Long
1 10791 SS Magnaflow X-Pipe
2 35105 SS Magnaflow Tips 3.5" 18" Long (I think 4" looks kinda big)

Here's the thing. Im getting the mufflers for free if the person can find them. I live in jersey, he lives in florida. He is bending the pipes on his truck so they will go on mine. Same truck. When i have it put on up here, i will have an x pipe put on. Im having it anle out the corners. The high flow cats will come after christmas, even though mine are getting pretty nasty. Beeing that he works in a exhaust shop i trust his judgment on pipe size. I was a bit weary on 2.5 also, but he assured me.

If you are using Magnaflow, why are you buying a separate x-pipe? Just get a DIDO muffler which has the X-pipe built in. Chepaer than two mufflers and an x-pipe.

Hey
97f150f/s

If there was just some way you could get the mufflers for free, then you would have it made.

Sorry just could not resist.

I just ordered this from Mike Troyer:
94305 - 2 1/4" Magnaflow SS Catalytic Converter
94315 - 2 1/4" Magnaflow SS Catalytic Converter with Air
10790 - 2 1/4" Magnaflow 12" Long SS X-Pipe
14315 - 2 1/4" Magnaflow SS Muffler x2
35105 - 3 1/2" Magnaflow SS Tip x2

The 2 mufflers with the X-pipe give it a much more aggressive tone. I cant wait to have it installed.

I have had this setup on my truck for over a year now. 4.6 manual.
1- 2 1/2" with 3" crossover Magnaflow 12" Long SS X-Pipe
2- 2 1/2" inlet reduced to 2 1/4" outlet Magnaflow SS Mufflers
2- 3 1/2" Magnaflow SS Tips (wish they were 18" long)
2- 2 1/4" SS exhaust pipes.
If you want loud then these are not what you need. If you want a nice low throb and a rich tone from the X-pipe, then these are good for that. I really like mine and the little bit of power increase was nice also.

Yeah but when you compare a mustang 4.6 to a mustang 5.0, which I heard both of with the exact same exhaust setup. The 5.0 was so much nicer, it sounds like a muscle car, dont get me wrong the 4.6 sounded good, it just wasnt as deep and aggresive as the 5.0

If you listne to a 5.0 stang and a 4.6 stang, with the same exhaust, there is no comparsion. The 5.0 sounds much more aggresive and deeper. Dont get me wrong, the 4.6 sounds good, but nothing sounds like a 5.0. It has a unique sound. And I am also replacing my cats.
