Question '00 Navi Trailer Connector?

I have a 2000 Navi and I was wondering if any of you knew the right connector I need to connect a trailer to it? The trailer is 4 Flat...so do I need a 7 slotted or a 7 round? I counted the little "teeth" inside, and there were 7 of them....am I on the right track?

Thanks

I don't know a ton about it, but if it is 4 flat, then I believe that id does not need a 7 pin connector, seems like it is just a 4 pin connector. Not sure though, so you may want to wait for other responses too.

I have to round plug in my Ex and it has a connector for the 4 plug flat.. You can pick one of those up at Advance auto or somehting down there.. they are real cheap like 7 dollars or so..

Tampa, & Clearwater are awesome....

Thanks everyone

I looked in the center console, and nothing! Since I bought it at a dealership, either the orginial owner took it or someone from the lot did

I went to Discount Auto and they had a plug connector with the 7 round/slotted on one end and a 4 flat on the other...it's excatly what I needed, and it was only $6.99. Hooked up the trailer, and everything is working

When I bought mine, it was in a plastic bag in the back where the jack is in the" trunk", check there, and there were two relays, I don't know what they do, but I put them in anyways. And then there is a trailer brake kit, but I don' t have those on my boat, so they are still in the package in the back.
