Evening Folks:

Just went through two long phone calls plus lots of e-mails and "contact us" type deals to get a conical air filter replacement for my stock system for my 2002 Blackwood.

Some months ago, AirRaid advertised a system similar to what I wanted and even though I could not afford it at that time I remembered it. Contacted them today and they said basically that it did not function as they expected and it is no longer in the line.

The very nice lady I was talking to at AirRaid referred me to Volant who is another supplier of intake systems. With no malice intended, I know nothing abount Volant except my conversation with one of their tech reps, Hector, was helpfull and I am waiting an e-mail from him to determine if what Volant has to offer is the same type cone type filter I had on my '99 Lightning.

Can anyone offer any input as to what "conical" filters they have had success with either on a Navigator or even a Blackwood?

 

Go over to the Computer Chips forum and look up Mike Tryer (AKA SuperChips_Distributor) He sells AF1. I have an Airaid but if I were to do it again, I'd do AirForce 1. He should be able to help.
