how many miles will it go?

hi there, thinking of getting a 97 expy with around 50k on it, how many miles will it go? how many has yours gone? other years, 5.4, 4x4, if maintained, oil change, etc how far has yours taken you, and how much farther are you looking to take it?
thanks

I have over 125k on my 99 5.4 I bought mine used in 2001 with 36k on it. The only things I have had to do is replace 2 coils packs, upper control arms, spark plugs and shocks. I try to change oil on regular basis but sometimes I am not able to with the amount of driving I do. I do run mobil 1 all of the time alittle more exspensive but I think it is well worth the money.

Bought my 2000 new and although not that old (almost 4 years) and only have 58000 on it, I just replaced the 2nd thing that went bad. I had to replace the horns. Yep, the low tone horn quit so I forked out $30 for a new set from Ford.

First thing that went was a VSS. If only one sensor goes in almost 60k, I'm doing well.

I'm towing a big load but I take care of her. Doing fantastic.....

FYI, depending on what you'r looking for, '97's had a few problems that were addressed as the years went on. '99 got the PI engine (performance improved). 2000 saw some changes in brakes and also suspension I believe.

Best part is that rebates starting in 2000 or so have kept the preowned market in the toilet. Good for a buyer.
