Through the firewall!

Through the firewall!
Greetings,
I need to run a couple of 10-ga power leads, and a tranny temp sensor lead, through the firewall of my 2000 Expy.
I was hoping to make the hole somewhere around the removeable oval panel in the top of my dash, but it's just too tight under there.
So, experts: what's the best location for a wiring hole in the firewall?
Thanks a zillion!
Best regards,

There should be a rubber grommet up on the fire wall near where the throttle cable goes through. I believe if you look from the engine side you will see it to the left of the brake master cylinder. It should not be far from where you need to run the wires too
This is where it is on the F150s but may differ on the Expedition but most likely one will be there somewhere.........
