99 third row seat folding ??s

When you fold the seat and push it fwd: should it lock in place, or do you have to remove it?

The 99's didn't come with a lock to hold the folded seat in place, I'm guessing your describing, when you roll it forward up against the second row. There was avalaible an after market device, that holds it in place. Its a bar with spring loaded clamps that attach to the pin in the floor and to the cross bar on the bottom of the seat. I bought one for my 99, use it all the time. Rather doubt its still available, but??? I think this is what you are asking!

I seen the 99 expedtion and they made a lot of changes in the 03s...the folding of 3rd row is just awesome! but both ways it provides a lot of room =)
