I have a 2004 with an annoying rattle creek sound that comes from the passenger dash area. It only happens when you hit a certain kind of bump.

It sounds (from the drivers seat) that it's coming from the air bag area or maybe further forward and towards the right front corner.

It didn't do it when I first got it but now it has about 500 miles over PAs crappy raods and it just showed up yesterday.

Emptied what little was in glove box so its not that.

My 03 has a rattle in the dash under the radio somewhere. I can push on the plastic and it stops. I won't bother taking it to ford, I'll just shove a small piece of paper in the crack and hope that stops it. I also sometimes hear a noise coming from the outside. I heard it may be the plastic panels on the doors.

 

Mine seems to happen more when it's cooler outside.

Definately not the outer panels blowing in the wind because I'm not going fast enough.

It's something inside.
