I own a '97 xlt w/ only the front and 2nd seats. I've seen people selling 3rd row seats left and right on the web, but I dont see how it can be installed. I understand you're going to need hardware also, but I dont see the head or leg room. Can someone out there educate me on how, if I purchased a 3rd row seat, does it fit.

 

There has to be two channels in the floor of the cargo compartment.
You can peel the carpet up and see if you have 'em. If not, then you're out of luck.
The 2nd row also has to have the flip fold option so people can access the 3rd seat.
The 3rd row seat sits flat on the floor, so there's enough head room.

 

of-course there is those 'aftermarket' third row seats that dont have seatbelt anchors or anything . . . not much good for anything other then the neighbors kids . . .
